Find out why it's important to protect bakery items in safe packaging materials.

With the recent draft by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) to update the German Consumer Goods, the ordinance is raising new attention to the contamination of food by mineral oils migrating from food contact materials (FCMs) made with recycled or waste paper.

MOSH/ MOAH (Mineral Oils) can pose a problem as MOAH are suspected mutagens and carcinogens, as well as endocrine disruptors. On the other hand, MOSH accumulates in the body and can cause several dysfunctions.
